Pertisau has two toboggan runs — quite different in length and pace. For one you ride comfortably up with the Karwendel cable car; the other you reach on foot or with the Rodelexpress.

Zwölferkopf: up with the Karwendel cable car

The Karwendel cable car takes you comfortably up to the mountain station, from where you toboggan the long natural run back down into the valley. On the way it winds through the forest in several bends, past a transmitter mast, with repeated views of Lake Achensee.

The second run is shorter and easier. To reach the start you either walk up to the Rodlhütte in 35 minutes or take the Rodelexpress — a tractor and trailer that leaves hourly from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. directly from Sport Wöll in Pertisau. The run is floodlit, so you can still toboggan in the evening.
